Barking Dog Books and Art has been in business since 2002. Our online store carries only a fraction of our inventory of over 10,000 books. Catalogs include mystery, science fiction, military and world history, art, poetry, children's classics, science, math, and local/regional history.

Our PoliciesSpeedy Shipping and No Hassle Returns
We don't keep you waiting to receive your purchase. We process and ship all book orders within two days and will email a delivery confirmation number so you can track your shipment. Orders of $25 or more receive free Media Mail shipping within the United States. We pack items carefully to avoid damage in transit.
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Barking Dog Books and Art. Items may be returned in "as shipped" condition for refund of your purchase price.

We are happy to answer questions about our books or our policies and can provide additional images of our books or art upon request. We try to answer all emails the same day they are received.
Payment Methods
To pay online, we accept PayPal. If you wish to pay via VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, please include your telephone number so that we can call you for your credit card information.
Personal checks, and money orders should be made payable to Barking Dog Books and Art LLC and will need to clear before your purchase is shipped.
We are happy to accept credit card orders by phone.
Selling or Trading Your Books to Barking Dog Books and Art
We will do our best to make it worth your while to bring us your books, but we reserve the right to reject books we cannot use. We will make you either a cash offer or give store credit for books in which we are interested. Store credit cannot be used on special orders. Books must be clean, dry, and have no mildew or damp stains. If you have more than three boxes of books, please call first to arrange a convenient time for us to look at them.
We are particularly interested in acquiring hardbacks and paperbacks in the following categories:

We DO NOT accept romance, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, Encyclopedias, Self Help, Inspirational, Computer Manuals, Textbooks, or Diet and Health books.
Our Privacy PolicyOur site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. Buyers are required to provide contact information (name, address, and email address) and payment information to make purchases. Contact information from the order form is used to ship orders to customers. The customer's contact information is used to contact the visitor when necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the customer for products and services.
We do not sell or use the information provided in any other way. We will only contact customers who have asked us to do so via our Want List or by opting into our Mail List. You have the option to change and modify information previously provided by accesing the "Login To My Account" link on our homepage.
