Written by "First Lady to the Empress Marie-Louise" and first published in 1819. This copy signed in ink on title page "Ducie". Finely bound in blue pebbled leather with five raised bands. Gilt trimmed decoration and lettering including "Ducie" at foot of spine. Marbled boards, all edges and endpapers. Spine evenly sunned.
