556 pp. illustrated with four plates and a diagram of base ball field. Complete. Rebound in red buckram with plain end-papers. Fewer than the usual internal library marks with marginalia on a couple of pages. Overall clean and securely bound. This is an original publication from 1866, not a reproduction. The bookplate on the front endpapers indicates this volume was from "The Charles W. Mears Collection on Baseball" having been "A Gift from his family to the Cleveland Public Library." Images shown are of the actual book on offer.
